![]() It is the weekend and even during the week now we get very little input in the HF from flickr staff, perhaps reporting the problem using and then clicking "help by email" will get their attention. I am not (and cannot) access flickr's "new photo experience" when I am logged in, that opt-in should not have any bearing but who knows? Try another browser if you have more than one installed to see if it is a browser specific problem. I am able to upload successfully accessing flickr via http. I don't personally have any ideas that will help so far. So far of the three in this thread, one is in the US and two appear to be on the British Isles so location or ISP may not be the common factor. Supposing that flickr staff is still monitoring this help forum, I ask "what exactly have you tried" in an attempt to see or to help them to see if their are any similarities in the reports that would help them narrow down the problem. There seems to be a small but growing number of members reporting that they cannot upload successfully with the main uploader. I tried the "try old uploader" and it worked.ĭoes that mean if have to do that everytime ?. I tried the "try old uploader" and it worked.ĭoes that mean if have to do that everytime ?.ps. Not tried "3rd party upload apps in the App Garden?" Got someone to log in and to try from their account. Ran CC cleaner, loggged in and out again tried uploading pictures other than j.pegs. Mine does not work either, I tried everything, just the last 2 days. ![]() What suggestions then have you tried to get the main uploader to work? Wait, I see, you can upload with the old uploader, just not the main one. ![]() What happened when you tried one of the 3rd party upload apps in the App Garden? What happened when you tried "upload by email"? Hopefully flickr staff take notice and get it fixed. I tried twice to add more using the old uploader, it got as far as completing upload but has still yet to display them on the website in my photostream. I managed to add just one photo yesterday. I keep having this problem as well Kevin. Read the faq, tried all the suggestions, still can't upload. (1 to 100 of 376 replies in Unable to upload) Tedd4u (staff) edited this topic ages ago. The old uploader works with a few photos at a time, but I'd rather not use that as it is more time consuming. I am connected to the internet, so I'm not sure what that means. Again thanks for your help diagnosing upload problems.įor the past couple of days I have been unable to upload photos and get an error message telling me I'm not connected. If you're able, please post a comment back to this thread with the results, including the version (Avast "free" or paid "Avast Pro") and if you can find it the version number of your Avast installation. Instead, please try to temporarily disable Avast. Initial reports indicate that adding Flickr as an "exception" or "exclusion" is not effective. All four report being users of "Avast Web Shield." Thanks to those users for helping to determine the steps required to solve the problem. ![]() Unable to uploadįour Windows users have reported that disabling anti-virus software resolved their uploading problems.
